When you’re networking or meeting with a lead, do you struggle with concisely conveying how your company can solve their problems? Do you feel like your marketing messaging isn’t hard-hitting? Do you struggle with finding the right words to quickly describe what you do? Your future customers don’t have time to read your entire website or 4 paragraphs of text in an email or watch a 5 minute long video. When your future customer is doing Google searches and comparing companies in your industry, they’re making split-second decisions based on what they’re reading on your website, your social media posts, your ad in a magazine, and more.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to reach and win your customers by crafting your business’s “one-liner”, a one-sentence message that clearly articulates your customer’s problem, the service you provide, and the outcome your customer will experience.
What’s a “one-liner”?
A One-Liner is a single statement you can use to help people realize why they need your product or service.
Identifying your target audience’s main struggle you’re trying to help them overcome, problem you’re trying to solve, or goal you’re trying them achieve is KEY when it comes to crafting your one-liner, and ultimately using it to craft hard-hitting marketing messaging for your website, email marketing, social media posts, and more.
Throughout the course of this workshop, we’ll learn how to identify the following:
Writing marketing messaging for your company is hard. As a business owner, you’re probably so busy working in your business that sitting down and finding the optimal phrasing to concisely and accurately describe your business for people quickly “passing through” or shopping companies in your industry isn’t something you regularly do.
Sure, you know what you do like the back of your hand. But does everyone else?
Crafting your business’s one-liner is the very first step in getting a better handle on and not being so intimidated by writing emails, planning pitches for networking events, writing out social media calendars, and writing copy for flyers, posters, ads and more.
If these tasks have always felt grueling, tedious, and maybe just a little bit soul-sucking, creating a one-liner is the perfect exercise for you.
The course will be recorded and provided to all paid registered attendees.
